Hi, I'm Luca Casamassima. Online I go by LucaG.
I’m a founder and growth marketer based in Italy. I spend a good part of my week trying new software so you can skip the bad ones.
I started as a product designer. I’m not a developer, so I judge tools the way most people do: can I get real value out of this today, without a long tutorial and without calling a developer?
What I've built
NTSOT (Not The Same Old Tools)
NTSOT is the free newsletter I’ve been writing since 2024. Every Monday you get 5 tools for founders, marketers and solopreneurs. The rule is in the name: no recycled lists of the same apps you’ve seen a hundred times.
ShortPen
I co-founded ShortPen and run it as CEO. It’s a platform for branded links, dynamic QR codes and post-click conversion tracking. We launched the first version in October 2024 and shipped 1.0 in April 2025. Growth so far has come from SEO, Reddit and LinkedIn, with zero paid ads.
Building a SaaS product means I see tools from both sides. I know what a pricing page hides, and I know how much work goes into a feature that looks simple.

Guadagnissimo is my Italian community about earning and saving money, run through a newsletter.
How I review tools

I sign up and use every tool myself before I review it.

Prices come from the tool’s official pricing page and are checked the day the review goes live.

Every review says what the tool does badly, too. If I wouldn’t pay for it, I tell you.

If a link earns me a commission, the review says so. It never changes the score.

I use AI to help with research and fact-checking. The testing and the opinions are mine.
